Pioneer Day roping wasn’t the barn burner we are used to, with a lot of new events happening around this date, our teams were down. That being said, Colleen Enk announced 371 teams for the day, Lee Legasey, flagging, and San Luis Obispo Cattlewomen, Fran Tognazzini, Dee Lacey, Cheryl Gay Rambo, Carla Young, Ann Cochrane , Dakota Rodriguez, Roxanne Sanders, Jill Heely, Jennifer Sanders, Taryn Green, Susan Cochrane and Jorge Martinez and his hard working family doing their jobs fantastically. ….thanks everyone.
As you know the San Luis Obispo County Cattlewomen produce this roping and the proceeds go for scholarships. So I would truly like to thank all of the sponsors, ropers, community, cattlewomen for donating their time and the roping crew that it takes to make this event happen.
